Pro Bono IT Consulting for Childaid Network

Childaid is a non-profit organization that advocates for educational justice in South Asia. Since its foundation, AdEx Partners has supported the network with an annual donation for Christmas.

In addition, this year AdEx Partners was also able to help directly in the area of IT project management. The two experienced consultants, Alexander Herold and Peter Röllig, supported the project pro bono on top of the normal day-to-day project live, together with two students of the JC Network, Leonhard Schöffel and Tabea Lüdde.

The implementation of a CRM system involved project management, consulting and coordination, as the project was very important but yet a complex task for the organization. AdEx Partners supported in the ongoing project governance as well as in the technical consulting in the following areas:

  • Definition of new processes
  • Support in the conception of test cases
  • Adjustments to the system
  • Integration of new functions

The objective of this project was an increase in the efficiency of internal administration through the introduction of a modern CRM system. This goal has been successfully completed.

Martin Kasper, founder of Childaid Network, expressed his gratitude for the active and voluntary commitment of the team and the reinforcement of the project organization: "A challenging project for Childaid Network, but with expert support this had been managed. We are very happy!"

Carsten Kracht, Managing Director of AdEx Partners, sums up the support as follows: "We believe in the idea of achieving a secure future for people through education. That's why AdEx Partners has been supporting Childaid Network for many years. Be it financially through our annual donations or practically through pro bono consulting in projects."

AdEx Partners wants to support other organizations through "Skilled Volunteering" with the greatest possible leverage. This winter, the "Digital Bootcamp" will take place for the third time. There, social businesses and non-profit organizations could previously apply with a specific problem. Five selected teams are accompanied by consultants over a period of three months and work together to develop solutions.

It is a win-win-win situation: a fulfilling experience for the consultants, the organizations are further strengthened in their impact and both sides can think outside the box and learn from each other.
