With this guiding principle, we have volunteered pro bono for humedica e.V. over the past three years. humedica is an international relief organization based in Kaufbeuren that has been providing rapid emergency and disaster relief since 1979. With over 80 full-time employees and numerous volunteers, humedica is committed to good healthcare and living conditions worldwide.<\/p>\n
The goal of the joint project was to support humedica's growth with best practices in software solutions and working methods in order to generate the greatest possible added value for humedica's beneficiaries.<\/p>\n
ERP and CRM systems for better efficiency<\/strong><\/h3>\nAt the beginning, tools such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint were jointly introduced to significantly improve digital collaboration. Through targeted training and change management approaches, these and other solutions have now become an integral part of day-to-day work across different locations at humedica.<\/p>\n
In addition, to elevate core functions such as fundraising, donation accounting, project management, and relief supply logistics to a new level, the implementation of a completely new ERP and CRM system was prepared. We analyzed processes, evaluated requirements, and supported humedica in selecting suitable software providers. In a collaborative approach, several non-profit organizations have now joined forces to work together with humedica in specifically tailoring the available solutions to their needs.<\/p>\n
Artificial Intelligence in Action<\/strong><\/h3>\nAnyone who wants to create a modern work environment must also consider the use of artificial intelligence. That\u2019s why, through a series of training sessions, we provided foundational knowledge on the principles and capabilities of AI, practiced best practices for prompting, and offered insights into AI applications that go beyond off-the-shelf tools and chatbots. Armed with this foundational knowledge, humedica\u2019s staff will work alongside our AI experts in the following workshops to analyze processes in their work as an NGO, identify use cases, and implement suitable AI solutions.<\/p>\n\t
