Our commitment to science-based climate action<\/h1>\n

We are setting an important milestone for ourselves:<\/h3>\n

AdEx Partners hat sich verpflichtet, seine CO\u2082-Emissionen bis 2030 um 42 % zu reduzieren<\/strong>, im Einklang mit der SBTi und dem globalen Ziel, die Erderw\u00e4rmung auf 1,5-2 \u00b0C zu begrenzen.<\/p>\n

While reducing emissions remains our top priority, we offset unavoidable residual emissions through high-quality, verified climate protection projects. We aim to contribute to climate neutrality by 2030 by offsetting 100 % of our remaining emissions.<\/strong> In the meantime, we are offsetting all Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, as well as 50 % of Scope 3 emissions.<\/p>\n

This commitment reflects our belief that responsible entrepreneurship must be based on data, transparency, and long-term accountability.<\/p>\n\t

Why this is close to our hearts<\/h3>\n

Climate change is one of the greatest challenges of our generation. It no longer affects only vulnerable populations and future generations, but is already changing people's lives across Europe today through rising health risks, insecure housing conditions, and higher living costs caused by extreme weather events. We consider it our responsibility to be part of the solution and to contribute to long-term societal resilience and prosperity.<\/p>\n

At the same time, climate action is a driver of business success and sustainable growth. Customers are increasingly looking for credible and climate-friendly partners, investors value responsible and risk-conscious corporate governance, and employees expect meaningful and measurable results. That's how we get things done<\/h3>\n\t

1. Analyze:<\/h3>\n

We calculate our company-wide carbon footprint annually according to recognized standards such as the GHG Protocol and have it verified by independent third parties to ensure transparency and enable targeted reductions.<\/p>\n\t

2. Reduce:<\/h3>\n

We are committed to reducing our CO\u2082 emissions by 42 % by 2030, in line with the \u201eScience Based Targets Initiative\u201c (SBTi), the most recognized science-based standard for limiting global warming to 1.5\u20132 \u00b0C. We are currently developing a comprehensive decarbonization strategy that builds on our existing strengths while introducing new measures to accelerate our progress and further reduce emissions across all our business segments.<\/p>\n\t

3. Management of residual emissions:<\/h3>\n

Where emissions cannot yet be avoided, we use high-quality climate protection projects verified according to the \u201eGold Standard\u201c\u2014such as reforestation initiatives\u2014as a supplementary measure toward climate neutrality. We aim to contribute to climate neutrality by offsetting 100 % of our residual emissions by 2030. In the meantime, we offset all Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions as well as 50 % of Scope 3 emissions (emissions from travel and events).<\/p>\n\t

4. Reporting:<\/h3>\n

We transparently disclose our progress through recognized sustainability platforms such as EcoVadis and IntegrityNext, thereby ensuring accountability and continuous improvement.<\/p>\n\t

In view of growing criticism of terms such as \u201eclimate neutrality,\u201c we are placing a clear emphasis on strategies where reduction comes first, and view offsetting as a complementary measure\u2014not as a substitute for real emission reductions.<\/p>\n

We are convinced that measurable climate action is not a limitation, but rather a driver of innovation, resilience, and long-term success. By combining ambition with transparency and accountability, we are shaping a future that is responsible, competitive, and sustainable.<\/p>\n\t
