Our history
2012
AdEx Partners was founded by Carsten Kracht and Ferdinand Weiss on March 6, 2012, upon its entry into the Hamburg Commercial Register. The company’s name is derived from "Advisory Excellence." The idea: to support clients as a "trusted advisor," backed by an experienced team, in their complex transformation projects.
2013
The first employees were hired in the spring of 2013, and by the end of 2013, there were already seven. Revenue of nearly one million euros in the first fiscal year confirmed the viability of the business concept.
2014
By the end of 2014, the AdEx Partners team had already grown to 20 members. The word "Partners" in the name was—and remains—central: teamwork, mutual support, and networking have become the keys to AdEx Partners" success.
2016
In 2016, we carried out projects for 40 different clients. To this end, we opened local offices in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
2017
On March 6, 2017, we celebrated our 5th birthday with over 80 employees. The focus this year: tapping into additional industries, such as financial services and insurance.
For the first time, AdEx Partners was officially allowed to call itself a „Great Place to Work“ in consulting.
2018
This year, we focused on IT and technology-related fields and founded AdEx Solutions. In the growing field of corporate social responsibility, we launched a three-year pro bono project with Tafel Deutschland to digitize food rescue and distribution.
2019
From the very beginning AdEx Partners is a participatory company. That should remain the case even as we grow. That is why we developed our „Hood Concept“ in 2019.
Additionally, this year we are launching the first Digital Bootcamp for non-profits and social enterprises.
2020
This year, for the first time, we were named a „Hidden Champion“ of the consulting industry in the Project & Program Management category.
AdEx Partners has also been a participant in the United Nations Global Compact since 2020.
2021
The pandemic continued to keep us on our toes. Despite the challenging circumstances, we achieved outstanding business results and continued to grow.
We were finally able to experience that special AdEx Partners spirit "live" again at the Summer Event in Warnemünde.
2021
Starting in 2021, we provided free support to Humedica e.V., a global relief organization, with its digital transformation for three years.
In addition to introducing ERP and CRM systems, we also trained the team in AI applications and participated annually in the „Gift with Heart“ campaign.
2021 also saw our first AdExGo! Challenge take place.
2022
On March 6th, we celebrated 10 years of AdEx Partners with over 170 employees. In our Purpose Challenge, we jointly defined our corporate purpose: „Empowering leading organizations to shape the digital future of Europe“.
We have once again been named a „Hidden Champion“ of the consulting industry.
And: The Swiss company Capvis AG invested in AdEx Partners.
2023
These are our values: trust, together, impact, passion. Developed in a co-creative process with feedback from our customers, they guide us like a North Star in everything we do.
Great Place to Work: AdEx Partners was once again among the top 25 employers in Germany (101-500 employees).
Great progress in ESG reporting: Our first EcoVadis assessment was immediately rewarded with the bronze medal.
2024
All good things come in threes: AdEx Partners has once again been named a „Hidden Champion“ of the consulting industry.
Best of Consulting: For the 7th consecutive time, we received the award for outstanding consulting projects from WirtschaftsWoche.
2025
Great Place to Work: For the first time, AdEx Partners ranked among the top 20 in the „Germany's Best Employers 2025“ competition.
Kununu Top Company: The more than 100 reviews from employees as well as applicants since 2014 are overall significantly above the average for the consulting industry.
2025
do we have with AdEx Intelligence and BMC Strategy Consultants extended our expertise in AI transformation and strategic management consulting for financial services – for strategy, transformation, and AI from a single source.
2025
Since December 1, 2025, our headquarters have been located in Munich. This is where our flagship office is being created, bringing the AdEx Partners brand to life in 3D.
