We are looking for you

a Forward Deployed AI Engineer (all genders). You already have sound practical experience in the AI environment and want to not only conceptualise AI solutions but also implement them directly into real applications. In close collaboration with internal stakeholders and engineering teams, you will take responsibility for the development, implementation, and scaling of AI-based solutions.

YOUR TASKS INCLUDE:

Independent Identification, conception and implementation of AI use cases in agreement with internal stakeholders
Development, prototyping, and further development of LLM-based applications (e.g. OpenAI API / ChatGPT)
Design and Implementation of AI Agents for the automation of internal workflows (incl. tool calling and multi-step flows)
Structure and optimisation of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) Pipelines including data integration and embeddings
Integration of AI functionalities in existing systems and tools (e.g. via APIs)
Carrying out Testing, Evaluation and Continuous Improvement of AI Applications (e.g. Prompt Engineering, Output Optimisation)
Observation and evaluation of new Models, Frameworks and Best Practices I'm AI Engineering
Documentation and scaling of Use Cases, Prompts und Technical Solutions

What you bring to the table

Passion and enthusiasm are more important to us than certificates or testimonials. The following skills will help you to be successful with us:

Completed degree (e.g. Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering or a comparable field)
Several years of professional experience in the development of software or AI solutions, ideally in management consulting.
Very good programming skills (e.g. Python) as well as experience with APIs, data processing and system integration
Sound practical experience with AI/LLMs (e.g. OpenAI API, prompt engineering or own productive applications)
a good understanding of concepts such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Embeddings and agentic systems
Several years of experience in the development and deployment of cloud-native applications and AI solutions on platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Structured, analytical and solution-oriented approach
A high degree of personal initiative and the ability to drive topics forward independently
Business fluent written and spoken German and English
Willingness to travel within the DACH region as well as to other European countries.
