We are looking for you

one Forward Deployed AI Engineer (all genders). You already bring solid practical experience in the AI environment and want not only to design AI solutions, but to bring them directly into real-world applications. In close collaboration with internal stakeholders and engineering teams, you will take responsibility for the development, implementation, and scaling of AI-based solutions.

YOUR TASKS INCLUDE:

Independent Identification, design, and implementation of AI use cases in coordination with internal stakeholders
Development, prototyping, and further development of LLM-based applications (e.g., OpenAI API / ChatGPT)
Design and Implementation of AI Agents for the automation of internal workflows (including tool-calling and multi-step flows)
Setup and optimization of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) Pipelines incl. data integration and embeddings
Integration of AI functionalities in existing systems and tools (e.g., via APIs)
Execution of Testing, Evaluation, and Continuous Improvement of AI Applications (e.g., prompt engineering, output optimization)
Monitoring and Evaluation of New Models, Frameworks, and Best Practices I am an AI engineer
Documentation and scaling of Use cases, prompts and technical solutions

What you bring to the table

Passion and enthusiasm are more important to us than certificates or diplomas, and the following skills will help you succeed with us:

Completed degree (e.g., in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable field of study)
Several years of professional experience in developing software or AI solutions, ideally in management consulting
Very good programming skills (e.g., Python) as well as experience with APIs, data processing, and system integration
Solid practical experience with AI/LLMs (e.g., OpenAI API, prompt engineering, or custom production applications)
Good understanding of concepts such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings, and agent-based systems
Several years of experience in developing and deploying cloud-native applications and AI solutions on platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented working style
High initiative and the ability to drive topics independently
Fluent written and spoken German and English
Willingness to travel within the DACH region and other European countries
