We are looking for you

a Working Student as AI Engineer (all genders) for up to 20 hours/week with start from 01.08.2026. You support our team in developing modern To quickly bring AI solutions into real applications and internal processes. Together with experienced engineers, you will work on practical AI use cases and gradually take on more responsibility in development, testing, and integration.

YOUR TASKS...

Support in the Identification, conception and implementation of AI use cases in close cooperation with internal stakeholders
Co-operation with Prototyping and the further development of LLM-based applications (e.g. OpenAI API / ChatGPT)
Support for building AI agents for automating internal workflows and processes
Cooperation on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) Pipelines including data connection, embeddings and knowledge integration
Integration of AI functionalities in internal tools and systems About APIs
Testing, Evaluation, and iterative improvement of AI applications (e.g. Prompt Engineering, Output quality and user experience)
Research into new AI models, frameworks, and best practices in the field of AI Engineering
Documentation of use cases, technical solutions, and prompt structures

What you bring to the table

Passion and enthusiasm are more important to us than certificates or testimonials. However, the following skills will help you get off to a flying start with us:

Advanced studies (ideally a Master's degree) in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Software Engineering or a comparable field
Good programming skills, particularly in Python
Experience with version control systems, especially Git
First points of contact with AI/LLM technologies (e.g. OpenAI API, Azure Foundry,)
Initial practical experience in integrating systems using Rest-APIs and associated authentication mechanisms
Basic understanding of concepts such as RAG, Embeddings or agentic systems is advantageous
First experience with the development and deployment of Applications in cloud environments (AWS, Azure or GCP) is advantageous
Interest in development practical AI solutions and their integration into real-world applications
Structured, analytical and solution-oriented approach
High level of initiative and willingness to learn
Very good English skills in word and writing
Teamwork skills as well as an interest in long-term cooperation (at least 12 months)
