For AdEx Partners it is self-evident to take social and ecological responsibility. The three responsibility areas People, Purpose and Planet build the foundation for our sustainability approach.


Employees first

Corporate responsibility towards our own employees: a flexible working time model, a good work-life balance and health benefits. Once a month we conduct an anonymous satisfaction survey to identify and address potential areas for improvement as early as possible. Our motto: Motivated, healthy and happy employees form the basis for successful projects and satisfied clients.

AdEx Partners - a participatory company

As Trusted Advisors we have a considerable leverage effect when donating our skills and expertise for the common good. By offering pro bono work to social institutions, we find purpose, broaden our horizons, deepen our skills, think out of the box, introspect and learn for ourselves.

One family!

We see ourselves as one big family. We regularly organize team events, take part in local sport events and organize summer events including partners and kids of all AdEx employees!

Our pro bono projects

Since 2017, we have been accompanying Germany’s largest foodbank "Tafel Deutschland e.V." as an official pro bono consulting partner in their nationwide digitization project "Tafel macht Zukunft - gemeinsam digital". In this project, we are applying our experience and expertise in digital transformation, agile project management and change management, among other things. Read in the Tafel story how AdEx is helping to save more food from waste, distribute it more efficiently and increase transparency. 

One of our core competencies is being applied in our project with the umbrella organization "SOS Children's Villages International”: the conceptual design of an IT operating model for the globally operating ICT teams. A typical skilled volunteering mission!

Digital Boot Camps for Social Entrepreneurs

Social entrepreneurs tackle social issues in an entrepreneurial way, trying to promote systemic change. In close cooperation with our network partner Ashoka, the world's largest network for social entrepreneurs, AdEx organizes and executes boot camps to help social entrepreneurs meet challenges in the areas of IT, digitalization, strategy, etc. A detailed report can be found here.

Our Charity Projects

As a long-standing corporate partner, AdEx regularly supports the NGO "Childaid Network". Their vision is to provide children and young people in need with, among others, a qualified basic education, in order to create an important prerequisite for a self-determined life and thus a better future. For us, this is a matter of heart.

A team of AdEx Partners took part in the 24h race at Rad am Ring in July 2019 aiming to complete as many laps as possible. Not (only) for their own ego, but to collect as many donations as possible for the Besi & Friends Foundation, which supports people with neurological and immune diseases. Colleagues and clients have generously donated both, per lap and fixed amounts. This year, an AdEx team is planning to compete again! 


Climate change, species extinction and other environmental challenges pose a major threat to our Earth. We therefore carry out extensive internal efforts to become more environmentally friendly.

We evaluate

…our corporate carbon footprint (incl. CO2-equivalent CO2e) to measure the progress towards our competitive goals and to develop a roadmap to become more eco-friendly. 

We avoid

…CO2 by increased virtual collaboration to reduce travel. As experts in digitalization, we also leverage our knowledge to minimize emissions! For us it is a given to use green electricity in our offices. 

We reduce

…CO2e by efficient travel planning, preferring trains over flights, paperless offices and recycling wherever possible. We donate older hardware to extend product life cycles. Tips & tricks on CO2 reduction are exchanged and continuously growing in our internal “Green Wiki”. 


In 2020, we focus on avoiding and reducing our carbon footprint rather than compensating it. This puts us pressure to make our behavior more environmentally friendly. If it is essential for our customer, we are happy to offset the unavoidable part of our CO2e footprint through certified green projects.

UNGC is the world's largest and most important initiative for responsible corporate governance. The pact between the UN and companies or NGOs pursues the goal of an inclusive and sustainable global economy for the benefit of all people and markets. 

As a participant, AdEx is committed to adhering to the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact on human rights, labor standards, environmental protection and anti-corruption and reports regularly on the progress. Our focus is especially on the following Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
